Power Grass Collectors  - From £399

The Powered Grass Collector is an essential tool in helping to achieve complete year round garden care. Unique to Countax garden tractors, the PGC is an extremely dynamic and versatile piece of equipment. Used in conjunction with an IBS Rear Discharge deck or Combi deck, the Countax cut and collect system is the quietest, most efficient system around.

Renowned for its performance and ideally suited to the British climate, the PGC collects grass cuttings completely, even in wet weather. Brushes rotate against the forward motion of the tractor throwing the cuttings to the rear of the hopper, packing them in tightly. The brushes can be raised or lowered to provide the best possible collection for the conditions. This brushing action also helps to stimulate the turf and prevents the formation of thatch, while the rear roller lays down the classic striped lawn finish.

The PGC is equally at home picking up other organic debris and collecting fallen leaves in the autumn. It’s also an invaluable tool for clearing up after the important task of scarifying, which should be carried out at least twice a year in order to promote a healthy lawn.

Once the PGC is full, simply reverse up to the cuttings pile and empty. This is achieved by either using the tipping handle or by dashboard electric emptying, which can be fitted as an optional extra to most of our garden tractors and is standard on some larger models.

Powered Scarifier - From £549

The powered scarifier is driven from your Countax tractor's power take off and has hardened steel blades.  Using the Countax powered scarifier during the Spring and Autumn will help you to greatly reduce the thatch and moss in you lawn.  The vertical blades will cut through the laterally growing grass stems and thatch (the build up of decaying vegetation) and leave them on the lawn surface ready for you to collect with your Countax powered grass collector.  The best way to clear thatch and moss!
