The Cycle to Work Initiative is a salary sacrifice scheme which gives you the chance to save on the cost of a new bike as well as security and safety equipment to go with it.

The way salary sacrifice schemes work is that you give up part of your salary and receive an equivalent benefit that is exempt from Income Tax and National Insurance.

WHO'S IT FOR?

• The scheme is open to all full, part-time and contract staff whose term of employment is more than the period of the hire (12 months)
• You need to be a UK taxpayer via the PAYE system
• You need to be 18 years of age or over to comply with Customer Credit Act Legislation
• You need to be earning more than the National Minimum Wage after your wages have been reduced to comply with UK tax law
