Anti-vibration system - Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened by rubber buffers. This significantly reduces vibrations at the handles allowing for more comfortable and safer operation.

Bike handle - When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action. Ideal for working on large areas and allows the machine to be easily guided, thus reducing fatigue.

Shoulder strap / carrying system - Using a STIHL shoulder strap or carrying harness with soft padding makes work more comfortable, particularly during lengthy jobs.

Multi-function control handle - This houses all the engine controls. Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle.

Decompression system - The decompression valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, so less force on the starter rope is needed.

Tool free handle adjustment - The central wing nut enables easy adjustment without the use of tools. For transportation and space-saving storage the handle can be rotated through 90°.
